Rice is the staple food here in Indonesia and last week Evan and his fellow kinder students had a great time learning how to plant rice. Want to learn too?

Show your seedlings, boys!

Next, step into the paddy field and get dirty

Now start planting those seedlings in one row

Take one step back to make a new row

Keep planting boys, we need those rice to live

this is a great program for kids to appreciate the hard work of farmers and appreciate rice and food that is on their plate.

That is the greatest. Showing what is involved with having their rice. And besides they look so cute doing it.
I grew up planting rice and it was fun, I would do it again if given a chance.

Hi there,
I grew up in a village too… Though I never try to plant rice before…. I remember when it’s time to harvest it… At that already using machine… We kids will follow this machine and catch any fish that we can. I fail every time.
Oh.. Nice memories
