Last week the school held a Christmas concert as the closing event of this year’s school activity. I could not come to the event, as it was held on working day (Tuesday), but still got some pictures to share here.
Each year the K2 students would have the honor to play the nativity drama. So here’s Evan with some of the casts from the play.

The two boys with green bandanna were the shepherds and the other boy on the left was pre-costumed Joseph

Though mom could not come, she delegated some supporters from home and all the way from North Pole to cheer him
Merry Christmas and Happy

Edit: Oops I almost forgot, today is Mother’s Day here, so a quick note to all Indonesian moms out there, “Selamat Hari Ibu!” Happy Mother’s day mom, love you always!

Evan looked so handsome and charming! LOL, who was the crying baby in the 2nd last picture, poor boy!
LOL, the event was too long for the baby
What a cutie! Little kids are extra adorable when they’re in Christmas plays.

Those are such cute photos. Our son’s kindergarten did a holiday concert. It was adorable. We had so much fun. Do your kids go to a religious school? I ask because, in the United States, public schools aren’t allowed to do religious shows, so I was just curious.
Take care. Again, cute pics. You are quite the photographer, too. Those pictures are vivid.

It’s a Christian school but it does not fall into religious school category because the curriculum they use is the standard national curriculum.
Religious schools here in Indonesia usually have their own curriculum which focus on teaching about their religion.
Religions are being taught in all kind of schools here. There are 5 religions that are recognized in our constitution: Islam, Christian, Catholic, Buddhism and Hindu. Public schools have to provide several options of religious class to accommodate the students beliefs. If they fail to provide it, you can either skip the class or choose any religious class that you don’t mind to attend. Various religious celebrations are also allowed in public schools.
Private schools (whether religious based or not), on the other hand, don’t have to provide those options. So you need to check what kind of religious class they have.
Merry Christmas toyou and family.
Evan sure look smart in the photos.
