The story about Evan should begin with this picture. It’s a pregnancy test result taken on February 2005. The “plus” sign on it marked the coming of a new family member. Since then, he grew bigger in mom’s womb.

On September 12, 2005 night Evan’s parents went to “Hermina” hospital where his mom was scheduled to have Caesarian Operation the next morning. One shot before she left the house.

So this is the first post of this blog, some people say writing the first post is the hard part of blogging. Well, I’m not gonna argue with them. In fact I have added some more items to my version of “the hard parts in starting a blog” list, which include: finding the right theme/template which I’m still doing it (so many great options in the net), designing the header image, writing in English (as this is not our mother tongue), etc.

Anyway, in this first post I’m supposed to explain the background of this blog. I was helping my sister to arrange her family photo collection when the idea of making a blog about her son popped to my head. So I started to build this blog and planned to hand it over on September at Evan’s birthday.

Since Evan is already 2 years and 9 months young now, I will need to post some old photos from the past in order to make a complete series of Evan’s life. These posts will be labeled “From the file”. After that is up to Evan’s parents, hopefully, they have time to continue it.
