Teething – A Bittersweet Milestone…

It’s been a tough week for our baby. (Actually, it was an unpleasant week for Evan and me either, as we both got sick, but that’s another story). Anyway, the baby has been in a bad mood this past week as a new tooth is coming in. I think it’s gonna be at the back bottom this time. Seeing him in the middle of teething process is really a bittersweet experience. We’re happy to know that he’s facing another great milestone, but at the same time we too have to witness him struggling with all discomfort and misery that come with teething. ;-(

His first teething process began when he was barely 5 months and took weeks before the two front bottom teeth finally cutting in. Since then, teeth keep on coming from time to time. He has several teeth already now with two more about to poke through. The usual signs we see during his teething include drooling, cheek rubbing, ears pulling and gloomy mood.

Gloomy Mood

The gloomy teething days

Somehow the symptoms became worse with the current one. Along with the usual, this time he also lost his appetite (hence he lost some weight too), got cranky and restless. He got loose stools on Monday so we took him to the doctor the next day, but the doctor said it was nothing serious, just a common sign.

Got cranky and lost appetite

Though he’s much better now, no loose stools and starts to eat more, he still in cranky mood. Let’s hope the tooth will show up soon to end his misery. O:-) It’s really a bittersweet milestone.

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Enjoy your Sunday! 8-)

Looking Cute and Trendy With Flowers by Zoe

I love shopping for my kids. Every time I walk into the mall I will go straight to the baby and kid’s department and spend most of my time there. I usually start from the toys section. My boys already have their own preference on toys, so what I do is simply ask the clerks if they have new items from my sons’ favorite characters. If they have, I will take time to look at them. If not, I will go to the next section.

My next target is children’s wear section. My kids grow so fast, so I need to regularly buy new clothes for them. I will spend some time checking out each item before buying them for my boys. Though I don’t have a daughter, sometimes, if I have to buy something for my nieces or if I go shopping with my friends who have a daughter, I will check out the girl’s clothing too. It’s actually fun looking at the girl’s fashion trends these days. Take this pink tunic and legging from Flowers by Zoe for example. Aren’t they cute and trendy? If I were a little girl I would certainly love wearing them (L) Hmm… maybe I will just buy them for one of my nieces later. I have one who will celebrate her birthday soon. I know she’s gonna love it!

Cute, isn't it?

Kids nowadays are so lucky! Aren’t they? They have a better selection on fashion compare to us back then.
