Toy Trucks Encourage Fun and Are a Favorite Plaything

Toy trucks are often s favorite among children. There are many reasons for this but overall they are a lot of fun to play with and are often treasured for years to come as they encourage imagination and usually have many interesting features, especially when compared to other vehicle toys, such as cars, boats or airplanes.

For instance, toy trucks are often large in size, so they are easy to pick up, move and are rarely misplaced. Furthermore, they tend to have more workable parts that can be played with for added fun, which may or may not include the following: doors that open and close, ladders, dumping beds, trailers, levelers, steering wheels that move, etc. Hence, not only does this make the model more interesting, but it can also make it educational as it encourages the child to develop hand-eye coordination as they learn how the various parts work.

There are all different kinds of play trucks that can be enjoyed by kids of all ages, such as wooden or plastic trucks, diecast models, radio control vehicles, and even models that are sold in model kits and need to be put together. Thus, you’ll quickly discover there is something for everyone when it comes to toy trucks.

When is Our Next Vacation, Mom?

I was editing some pictures from our New Year’s holiday when Evan started asking me that question, “When’s our next vacation, mom?” We just came back from holiday ten days ago and the school had only been started for a week, yet he already asked for another vacation! I don’t blame him though, this past week I’ve been double busy catching up with my work, so sometimes I do wish I had another vacation very soon. Hm… I wonder if my son feels the same about his school workload. :-(

Anyway, I didn’t really need to answer his question for he already knew that we had to wait for his school break before we could have another family vacation. That would be on June-July. But the idea of planning ahead for a vacation is not bad at all. In fact, I like planning ahead for vacation and I think the beginning of the year is an ideal time to start thinking about family vacation. For our last New Year’s holiday to Manado I started booking our tickets and hotel rooms since mid November to get better deals.

Now after seeing our 15 months baby could pass his first flight experience very well on our trip to Manado (it was a 5 hours flight including 40 minutes stopover at Surabaya airport), I’ve been thinking maybe it’s time for our kids to have a longer vacation. An overseas vacation. Holiday to NYC perhaps? Why not! We just need to plan months ahead for that! :-D

So when is your next vacation? Have you planned it already? Have a great day everyone! :-D
